Hi! Strangers' Day is a collection of ordinary days from people in New York City. This is a project designed to help us build and connect with one another. You'll never meet these people. But for a moment, you get to know them.

One of my absolute favorite things to do since moving to NYC is looking out of my apartment window at night and glimpse into the myriad of lives that happen alongside my own. I believe the word they use to describe that is sonder.
We all benefit from gaining perspective and knowing that our lives are built upon so many others. Your entire life may exist as one second to a passerby on the subway. I thought that was worth paying attention to.
