Strangers’ Day

can you even feel love the way I can? Does it feel so nice it starts to hurt? I know you probably cant. But i dont care. But how cool would it be if when our species loved each other, we shared the same love. Like the exact same feeling? some rick and morty shit.

like what if when you told someone you loved them, for just a second, they felt exactly what you felt. not their version of it. yours. the actual thing happening in your chest. and then they had to decide what to do with that information.

i think most people would cry. not because its sad but because its so much. i think we walk around thinking everyone feels things the same amount and they dont. some people feel it like background music and some people feel it like a car crash and neither of them is wrong but they dont know that about each other.

i told my friend i loved her the other day. not in a weird way just like genuinely. and she said it back but i could tell hers was lighter than mine. thats fine. im not mad about it. but i did think about it on the train home. like what if she could feel mine for a second. shed probably be like oh. ok damn. yeah thats a lot.

anyway i think about this kind of stuff too much. probably why im up at 2am writing on a strange blog i found on a lamp post.
