I don’t like tourism. I do not like tourists. I want this message to get to the Americans because they are keep traveling to Europe every year. Everywhere. It is not even the German places, its also the places they travel in Europe which is everywhere. I travel to those places too, but I am not a tourist when I go. I go and learn, see people like me, learn and save the place so I can return. This is not the idea of an American tourist. They visit like it is the last time they will be here. drop stuff on the ground, do everything with speed and minimal learning. Go through all the famous places, take their photos and leave.

The people that choose to stay, the ones that buy houses and move here when they retire, stay as tourists too. They still do tourist things. They never bother to learn what it does for us. From me meeting many of them, that is the American dream now. They want to make a lot of money in America, come to my country where they think its cheap, and live like they are very rich. That is the American dream, it is our nightmare. We now have to work harder because they do. We work harder just because our cheap things became expensive since more people can buy them. We work harder because some people across the world decide that our country is cheap.
